The goal of the project is to replace outdated and inefficient windows in our school with modern, energy-efficient models. This has several advantages:

  1. Energy efficiency: New windows will reduce heating costs in winter and air conditioning costs in summer, contributing to energy savings and reducing emissions into the atmosphere.
  2. Comfort: Effective insulation will ensure comfort in classrooms where children spend most of their day.
  3. Resource conservation: Reducing energy needs will help preserve natural resources and decrease greenhouse gas emissions.
  4. Health: Improved ventilation and air quality in classrooms will promote the overall health of students and teachers.
  5. Educational benefits: A more comfortable learning environment positively impacts student engagement and concentration, which can enhance the quality of education.

H2 Project Goal

The "Window Replacement in School" project is a step towards creating better conditions for future generations and preserving the environment. We believe in the importance of this project and count on the support of the community, parents, and everyone who cares about the future of our children. Together, we can make our school better for all its participants.

  • Energy efficiency: New windows will reduce heating costs in winter and air conditioning costs in summer, contributing to energy savings and reducing emissions into the atmosphere.
  • Comfort: Effective insulation will ensure comfort in classrooms where children spend most of their day.

H3 Problem

Outdated windows that are over 50 years old in 2 groups of the kindergarten, in 2 classes of the school, and in the cafeteria. The condition of these windows is terrible. Some are nailed shut or do not close properly. There has been a reported case of a break-in through a window at the kindergarten, so it is necessary to install anti-burglary fittings on the windows located on the first floor.

H4 Proposed solution to the problem and its justification

Replacing the outdated windows. This will help reduce heat loss during the winter by rationally and effectively using heat, improve sound insulation, enhance the health of children, students, caregivers, and teachers, improve the microclimate in the kindergarten and school, and enhance the aesthetic appearance of the educational institution.

H5 Who is this project for

For 2 groups of kindergarten children, for first and second graders, kitchen staff, students, employees, teachers who dine in the cafeteria, as well as for the parents of students and children, so they do not have to worry about drafts or the children being in inadequate conditions, to fulfill their dream of a modern, comfortable institution that meets all sanitary and hygienic standards.

H6 Key performance indicators for the project outcome

Reduction in heating costs, savings on fuel and energy resources. Prevention of break-ins through first-floor windows.
